Chulmleigh Academy Trust is seeking a highly motivated Cleaner to join the Academy Premises Team. The successful candidate will be based at Lapford Community Primary School. Duties will include cleaning, both internally and externally and key tasks will include vacuuming, sweeping and washing floors, dusting and polishing and removing rubbish.
Lapford Primary School is a small school for children aged 2-11 years, in a warm and friendly rural village with strong community links. It is part of the Chulmleigh Academy Trust, a group of three primary schools (East Worlington, Lapford and Chulmleigh) and Chulmleigh College.
The parents, staff and children are extremely proud of Lapford School. Our pupils are highly valued, not only because of the very high expectations they have of themselves and their learning, but equally for the polite, well-mannered, caring attitudes they have towards their peers and staff.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will have an eye for detail and an ability to act on your own initiative. The Academy is seeking an individual committed to the provision of high-quality cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds to ensure a comfortable and pleasant working environment for all users.
This permanent position is offered for 15 hours per week x 41 weeks per annum. The working pattern is Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 6:30pm covering 41 weeks per annum which includes a two-week period (30 hours) to allow for a deep clean during the summer holidays.
